Immerse in Picturesque Living

Nestled in a hilly residential area, the Vacanza exudes charm and tranquillity for small families desiring an exclusive living lifestyle. The plot of land on sloping terrain and the nearby mature residential landed estate with narrow roads posed some initial challenges. Through engagement with Land Transport Authority and the residents’ committee, designated heavy or construction vehicle routes were derived to minimise disturbance to the tranquil neighbourhood and at the same time allowing practical vehicular access for our construction activity.

The initial basement carpark design was two levels deep and in close proximity to the neighbouring properties and businesses. Recognising the potential risk that the deep excavation may bring, we embarked on re-designing the basement, and successfully reduced the depth to a single basement thus creating sufficient buffer space for safe execution of works. This initiative had also allowed for a faster basement construction and a reduction in risk exposure.

Precast concrete was used for the external walls. Mechanical access methods were used in lieu of scaffolding to attain better quality consistently, improved speed and overall cost savings. The whole project was completed on time with a high CONQUAS score.
